St. Michael Lutheran Church

A FAITH COMMUNITY SHARING THE LOVE AND FORGIVENESS OF CHRIST WITH ALL.

We are now offering outdoor in-person worship.

Sundays at 9:30 am

In order to make this a “no touch service” we will have limited availability of bulletins. We suggest that you pull up  a copy of the Bulletin on your electronic device for use at the service.

Please click on the following Link for the Bulletin:

Here are some safety guidelines that we are implementing
for Worship during the Pandemic.

Please bring your own chair.
You may wish to bring an umbrella/canopy
to shield you from the sun.
Masks are required for children and adults
and must be worn throughout the service.

As you enter the parking lot you will be met by smiling,
but masked, parking lot attendants who will direct you.
If you have limited mobility, please inform the attendant.
Worship will be held at the south end of the Ministry Annex Building
(by the garage)

Please remember to keep at least a 6-foot distance
as you walk to the worship site.

At the entrance to the worship area…

There is a basket should you wish to give an offering.

You will be given an “All in One” Communion Cup
for each member of the family that receives the sacrament.
Please keep this sealed until the appropriate time in the service.
The wafer is sealed on the bottom of the cup.
Remove the wafer first and then remove the seal of the cup.
Gluten free is available.

Please select a location for your chairs that is physically distant from other families - at least 6 feet apart.
Please participate in the Congregation responses
and singing with a soft and light voice.
Restrooms can only be used in case of emergency.

*If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, are feeling ill, or have a temperature we expect that you will not worship until these symptoms dissipate or you have been tested for and cleared of the virus. Or, if you have been exposed to COVID, please do not worship until you have honored the appropriate 14 days quarantine time.*

For those who cannot attend, a Live Stream YouTube service will be made available. Click the following Link to access our YouTube page and then select the service for today.

**If we need to cancel due to inclement weather, an Eblast will be sent out and we will post on Facebook and our Website**

We respectfully ask that you remember your tithes and offerings as your gift to God. The work of the church continues despite the fact that we are not gathering on Sundays.

Gracious God, it is good for us to gather as your beloved in community. We treasure your presence with us in word and meal, song and prayer. Be with us in these days when gathering together as we would like is not possible. In this time of being apart for reasons of safety, we trust that you surround us with your sheltering wings. Encourage us in connecting as we are able, reaching out to our neighbors in need and being persistent in prayer. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our constant companion. Amen.

Join Us

Through worship, we gather as a community  - a family of faith – to hear the Word of God, to praise our Lord, to offer prayers of thankfulness, healing and hope for those we know and love and for all of God’s world, and to receive absolution (forgiveness of sin) and the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, through Holy Communion.

Worship is every Sunday at 8:30 and 10:45 am

Our Beliefs

The beauty of being an ELCA Lutheran is

you are allowed and encouraged to think and ask faith questions. We have basic faith tenants, but when it comes to many issues of faith and ethical life, our church gives guidance to you and encourage a specific belief or practice, but does not require people to all think or believe the same thing. Hence, regarding current hot button issues such as homosexuality, abortion and gun control our members may not be like-minded.

Who We Are

We are a congregation united by our love for Jesus and committed to a common mission to share the gospel and be Christ in the community.

We are more interested in praising God than just attending worship. More interested in serving others than being served. More interested in discipleship than membership. We are the HANDS, FEET, EYES... and VOICE of Christ  as we live out our faith each and every day.

REACHING OUR COMMUNITY

In response to God’s gift of grace, we have a number of vibrant ministries that allow us live our faith, grow in our relationship with the Lord and connect with each other.
