Pastor A.J. Striffler

Pastor AJ is a native New Yorker.  He graduated from Xavier High School (NYC), Getttysburg College (PA), and Emory University's Candler School of Theology (ATL).  Ordained for over 20 years, he has served congregations in Garden City KS, Syracuse NY, Binghampton NY, and has also served as a US Navy Chaplain.  He considers himself a true Bible and Luther/Reformation History nerd.

Pastor AJ plays the Great Highland Bagpipe.  He is looking forward to playing with the Palm Beach Pipes and Drums and having his dad and step-mom in the Palm Beach County area.  AJ is also a registered nurse, committed to physical care and well being.  He is always exploring connections between health maintenance and our stewardship of God's mission and resources.

Deeply inspired by the Book of Acts, AJ is committed to the Gospel for all people, the breaking down of barriers, dismantling of systems of oppression, and a Lutheran Church expression that loves, embraces and empowers all... ALL PEOPLE... because they are God's people.

Colossians 3:16 encourages us to sing hymns and spirituals with thankfulness, so let's raise our voices together and bring praise!

Dona Aliot

Administrative assistant

Stop in and say "Hello" to Dona, our new administrative assistant. She grew up in Billerica, MA and moved to Florida in 2008. Her mother, Janet, was one of the first to attend the Alzheimer's Care program when it opened here on the StM campus. She still attends everyday. Dona is also a property manager, loves the beach, and was an avid horseback rider.

"I am looking forward to being a blessing in whatever way I can to serve God."
