Pastor A.J. Striffler

Pastor AJ is a native New Yorker. He graduated from Xavier High School (NYC), Getttysburg College (PA), and Emory University's Candler School of Theology (ATL). Ordained for over 20 years, he has served congregations in Garden City KS, Syracuse NY, Binghampton NY, and has also served as a US Navy Chaplain. He considers himself a true Bible and Luther/Reformation History nerd.
Pastor AJ plays the Great Highland Bagpipe. He is looking forward to playing with the Palm Beach Pipes and Drums and having his dad and step-mom in the Palm Beach County area. AJ is also a registered nurse, committed to physical care and well being. He is always exploring connections between health maintenance and our stewardship of God's mission and resources.

Deeply inspired by the Book of Acts, AJ is committed to the Gospel for all people, the breaking down of barriers, dismantling of systems of oppression, and a Lutheran Church expression that loves, embraces and empowers all... ALL PEOPLE... because they are God's people.
