St.Michael understands the needs of our youth in today's world. We offer a variety of programs aimed at our love for Christ
Sunday School meets each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall of the St. Michael Annex, from 9:40 am to 10:35 am, for ages K to grade 5 from September to May.
We use a curriculum that focuses on Biblical themes over four weeks. Our goal is not just teach our children how to "talk the talk" but to "walk the walk," living faithfully as disciples of Christ.
We integrate service-based activities, parent involvement, and the involvement of our own ministry groups to lead by example in the Christian life, while never neglecting more traditional bible lessons.
Sunday Teen Socials for grades 6 to 12 meet at 9:45 am in the Youth Loft of the St. Michael Annex. Socials run from September to May and are focused on learning from biblical themes.
Midweek Teen Socials are also for grades 6 to 12 currently meet Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, following confirmation. in the Youth Loft of the St. Michael Annex. Socials continue September through May.
We typically eat a meal together, hold biblical discussions and devotions, play games and organize service activities. Focus is around table fellowship, fun and games, and a devotion on a "controversial topic"
Confirmation Class is for grades 7 and 8. We meet in the Youth Loft on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm for 30 minutes, just before our Midweek Teen Socials. We are studying the New Testament. Our classes continue through May. Our current course of study is the New Testament. The class is open to all seventh and eighth graders, or sixth graders with mutual consent of teachers and parents.
